  I came to this place 5 years ago, tired from a day of walking around and desperate for dim sum.
  The prices were low the food was solid but what got me was the portions. Sizeable shiu Mai and massive servings of steam buns.
  Strongly recommended to anyone looking for large amounts of cheap fare without having to worry about pretentious over pricing.

  This place is where Duk Li Dim Sum used to be, I think they just changed their name because from what I remember from Duk Li, it looks the exact same inside and outside.
  
  Came by for lunch, it wasn't busy so we sat by the tv. Similar laminated menus from before, they may have added a few extra items and have this pick 4 items thing, I looked over this and just ordered as normal.
  
  We got:
  -Har Gow (shrimp balls): nicely steamed, big pieces, stuffed nicely with plenty of shrimp. Yea, this was good.
  -BBQ Pork Rice Roll: this was good too, bbq pork was tasty, thin enough rice roll and big pieces.  
  -Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf: good, very comforting, decently stuffed with meat, few pieces of chinese sausage, and sticky.
  -Tofu Skin roll: very steamy and hot, good amount of filling, skin roll was thin enough to think it was a noodle, we killed this.
  -Pan fried Taro Cake: this was my least favorite, pretty dry inside, not very flavorful, very lightly pan fried, we didn't finish this.
  
  Prices are pretty good for what you get, service is basically, they take your order, bring what you ordered....if you need me just flag me down with your waiving arms, then see ya! Pay at the counter when you are done. Quality of dim sum seemed ok to me, didn't see any shenanigans in the food.
  
  If you liked Duk Li, you'll probably like Homestyle.

  Old place, new name. New-ish menu!
  
  Duk li was the goto for super fast and cheap dim sum take out. Mostly steamed items: some sautéed and a few rice dishes. But that was it.
  
  Now the new new in the same spot: looks exact same. New staff. New menu. More times!
  
  The good/ har gow? The steamed shrimp dumplings are delish! Pretty big sizes too. The new eggplant seafood and tofu seafood are a ok. It's not stuffed with just shrimp. It got ground fish and stuff. Very fishy.
  
  The steamed buns are pretty delish too! I was told a few minutes for my order when I called but ended up having to wait over 20 minutes. And parking is nonexistent in this area so can be a little messy! Order way ahead if you want special items! Or if you're going for steam items, you'll be in and out in 5 minutes!

  Reasonable prices.. The portions are pretty good.. But I am not sure about the quality. The ownership may have had changed.. Perhaps. ...
  Ordered shrimp dumplings, pork spareribs, deep fried dumplings with pork fillings.. To be honest they are ok. Not great. Spareribs are very oily. Not great flavor at all. Deep fried dumplings..(used to be my fav)  their filling was very gamey and I smelled old frying oil.
  
  I used to like this place for quick bites.. Sadly I won't go back there soon..

  got here pretty early on a Saturday, around 9:30-9:45. Seated right away and there were a few other tables already eating/finishing up when I sat down. I loved that people were speaking Canto even though it made me realize how bad mine has gotten.
  
  I ordered the har gow, beef cherng fun and cilantro cherng fun. There were 4 well sized har gow in the order. I didn't eat them right away but they were not really that warm by the time I bit into the first one. Temperature aside, the shrimp had a little bite to it and the dumpling skin was nice and chewy, and didn't fall apart. If these were piping hot they would have been perfect. For the cherng fun (steamed rice rolls), I had been searching for these since I got to town and they are LEGIT. They're like the fresh ones I get when I go to NYC. Not sure what kind of soy sauce they used to top it but it was also delicious. I would definitely come back just for these.
  
  The menu was a double sided, laminated 8x11 with noodles and congee in addition to dim sum. They don't push carts, you order and they bring it out. The cherng fun is def made fresh.
  
  There were only 2 people that I saw waiting on tables so at times they seemed a bit overwhelmed. It wasn't crazy busy but Chinese people can be super demanding so I get it. I wasn't in a rush so it didn't phase me but the guy working there was definitely trying and apologized for my check taking awhile.
